Lindsay Foster (born in Seattle, Washington) is a visual artist whose work explores belonging, isolation and the space between—the ambiguities of interacting, connecting and communicating. She earned her MFA from CalArts and her BA in sociology from University of Puget Sound. She is a former fellow at Akademie Schloss Solitude and is currently a visiting professor at Siena College. Her work has recently been shown at The American Psychological Association, Washington DC, United States; Kunstlerhaus, Stuttgart, Germany; Kunstalle Athena, Athens, Greece; Lotte Projektraum, Stuttgart, Germany; S1, Sheffield, England; Limb Gallery, Honolulu, Hawaii; Abbaye aux Dames, Saintes, France; Center for Contemporary Art, St. Petersburg, Russia.
